your so cool
you are so cool
my life has been dreadful without you
without the hazel in your eyes
with out your feet kicking mine
your so cool
your the reason my mornings were so sublime
the coo's you would sing as you stretched
and winced in the rising sun light
i would get to wait for you to shower
so i could be there holding a towel
making you pesto eggs while you rubbed lotion over your legs
playing with your hair for hours
watching you make a mess baking cookies
you are so cool
falling asleep with you in my arms
hearts beating in sync as we lay in a dream together
staring at you in nothing but my flannel shirt and your panties
your so cool
sipping wine and playing scrabble
hiding under the blankets while the rain pelted our windows
waking up and letting my eyes wander over your sleeping beauty
driving up the coast with our puppy
stopping at the beaches and sharing a joint as we stare into the ocean
you were so cool the night we met and you told me your were 27
the way you spoke in that southern drawl and wore the sexiest red plaid jacket i had ever seen
the time you showed up in shorts and boots and let me see those long luxurious legs
your so cool
you were cool because you were mine, all mine. and i was yours, all yours
something went wrong
something came in and led us astray
somewhere our hands fell from each others grasp.
but i still see you.
standing there with your flowing gold locks and enticing smile
i still see you over there waiting for the right words,
the right approach,
the right "I'm Sorry"
i know you want what i want
your so cool.
